Kemer, 40 km from Antalya and stretching to the Mediterranean along a 52 km coastline, is one of Turkey's most important tourism centers at the foot of the Western Taurus Mountains. Kemer, which is a district of Antalya city center and dates back to 690 BC, the foundation of the Ancient City of Phaselis, hosts important touristic areas such as Kiriş, Tekirova, Camyuva, Göynük and Beldibi in the Kemer region.
There are many alternative intercity bus companies for transportation to Kemer by bus. Many bus companies have direct services to Kemer from different points. Although there are direct flights from many cities in Turkey, transportation from Antalya Bus Station to Kemer is provided by regular bus and minibus services that depart every thirty minutes. From Antalya Airport, which is 13 km to Antalya and 57 km to Kemer, transportation to Kemer is provided first to Antalya city center and then by Kemer minibuses.
